Studio Policies and Expectations
Attendance & Punctuality
Dancers must arrive on time and be prepared for class.
For safety reasons, dancers arriving more than 10 minutes late will not be allowed to join the class (warm-up is essential to prevent injury).
Regular attendance is expected to support progress and class consistency.
Dress Code & Studio Rules
Only approved dance attire is permitted in class
Proper dance shoes are required and may only be worn inside the studios. No outdoor shoes allowed on the dance floor.
Hair must be secured neatly and away from the face for all dance technique classes.
Food and gum are not permitted in studios
Water in sealed/leak proof bottles is allowed.
Payments & Accounts
Payment is due in full, on the 1st of each month. This included months with holidays and breaks. Keep in mind that some months have 5 weeks and we do not charge extra for those months, therefore it evens out throughout the year. A $25 late fee will be added for any outstanding balances after the 10th of each month.
Tuition remains the same regardless of holidays, studio closures or missed classes.
All families must keep a valid card on file; tuition is automatically debited monthly. As autopay is the preferred method, Zelle, Paypal and Venmo are also acceptable. Cash is not accepted. Checks may be considered however a $25 returned check fee will be added to balance due.
If a card on file fails or a balance remains unpaid after the 10th of the month, dancers will not be permitted to participate in class until the balance is resolved.
Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Respect & Conduct
Respect and kindness is expected from dancers, parents, visitors and staff at all times.
Gossip, negativity, judgement and disruptive behavior are not permitted in the studio.
If a dancer, parent, or guardian has a concern, it must be addressed directly with the studio owner or Instructor.
Horseplay, disrespect, foul language, roughhousing, and unsafe behavior are strictly prohibited.
Make-Up Classes
If a dancer misses a class, they may make it up in:
The same class on a different day/time (if available), OR
A class at the same level they are currently enrolled in
All make-up classes must be completed within the same calendar month.
Make-up classes must be scheduled through the office in advance.
If a class is not made up within that month, it is considered null and void.
Unused make-up classes do not roll over and have no cash value.
Make-up classes are offered as a courtesy, not a guarantee. Availability may be limited due to class sizes, scheduling, or instructor discretion.
Studio Etiquette
Parents/guardians may not interrupt classes. Questions should be directed to the Owner.
Waiting areas should be kept clean and respectful for all families.
Photography or video recording during class is not permitted without prior permission.
Safety & Liability
The Boulevard is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please leave valuables at home.
All dancers must have a signed waiver on file before participating in any classes or performances.
Dancers must follow the instructor's directions at all times to maintain a safe environment and to prevent injuries.
Inclement Weather Cancellations
All class cancellations due to weather will be posted on the studio voicemail and The Boulevard Facebook page.
Rescheduling of classes will only be made if there are three or more of the same class canceled.
Refunds and Withdrawals
Registration fees are non-refundable.
If you wish to withdraw from an enrolled class, notify the Instructor or Owner, or send an email to dawn@boulevaddance.com.

No discounts apply to registration or costumes.
